"I began working with Glanbia in September '08 and following a week of induction in Glanbia House in Kilkenny with the other graduates Willie, Aine, Cara, Dennis & Andy, I was lucky to get my first placement in Drogheda working under the expert guidance of Declan O'Brien. I really enjoyed working with the people in Drogheda and having had no experience in the dairy industry, everyday was a learning experience and presented a wide variety of new challenges. The experience was particularly interesting for me as I had the oportunity to practice both Engineering and Project Management skills by taking responsibility of projects including the installation of a new loading bay."

“It's very demanding getting a plant up and going so it's our motto to work hard and play hard here. I work at the waste water treatment plant where our primary focus is to make the production waste water clean enough to send to the city. The whole process requires numerous systems to be operating at an optimum to achieve our goal. Being part of a new plant has been a challenging and rewarding task.”

"I'm really enjoying my final placement in Glanbia Foods Inc, Idaho at the moment because it's so varied. It's great to be involved in every aspect of Production from testing and streamlining to a new production line, to meeting targets and seeing operating procedures put into practise."
